The party season is now in full swing and it won’t be long before the big fella is coming to town. If you look closely, you’ll be able to see the Coke Cola truck coming over Shooters Hill. The Ocado orders are in and Bernard Matthews is getting ready to deliver the turkey.

If you can’t wait until the big day, you can always reserve a place at the Charlton Park VP Christmas lunch on Saturday 14 December. We'll be having the traditional meal with all the trimmings.

Tickets are still available but selling fast. So, the advice is get in quick. Whealie needs to know final numbers by close of on Monday 9 December.

Kick-off against our friends, Bromley, is at 2pm. To ensure plenty of time we'll be aiming to sit down shortly after midday. Please assemble in the bar from 11.30am. The price is £25 per head. Please bring cash.

We can cater for vegans, vegetarians and any dietary requirements but we need to know in advance - we won't be able to magic up a gluten-free, vegan, nutless cutlet out of thin air if you don't tell us until two minutes before sitting down.

Did I mention Whealie needs to know final numbers by Monday 9 December. No excuses and no exceptions. Santa will know whether you have been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake.
