The Charlton Park committee are delighted to announce that Shae Tucker will be joining the club from Blackheath as head coach for the 2025-26 season supporting Terry Read and Bill Sandison. A native New Zealander, Shae is described as a ‘strong physical character’ who represented Otago University, New Zealand Universities, North Otago, North Harbour and Hawkes Bay. He arrived in the United Kingdom in 2019 and settled in Cornwall playing professional rugby for the Cornish Pirates before moving to London in 2023 where he joined Blackheath. Shae’s a day job is in the financial services sector as financial analyst.
