As we enter the final stages of the 2024-25 season, aside from our league matches, there’s still lots going on down at Broad Walk to keep everyone interested.
Guinness Six Nations on the Big Screens
The 2025 Guinness Six Nations tournament kicks off in Paris on Friday 31 January when Wales take to the air to face a formidable French side in front of a partisan crowd at the Stade de France. How do Charlton Park Towers think the tournament will pan out. Read on, McDuff ..
Difficult to call this year - so many teams are in transition that we could see some really strange results. I fear for the Welsh - there’s so much division it can’t be good for them. The Irish have lost some big names, England don’t know who and how they are going to play until the Friday meeting. The French are looking good as always and the Italians are the italians. They might win a couple games but they might get hammered. And as for the Scots, if they remain injury free they could have a good season. But do they have the depth in their squad!
All matches are being shown on the televisions in the bar. Come on down, don’t be shy.

Community Events
We have recently linked up with Junior Reds football club and they are now using Broad Walk as a base for some of its teams. They play matches on Sunday’s and train under our lights midweek. As a result, we will be working in collaboration to bring you jointly hosted events such as quiz nights, race nights, even music nights featuring local bands. If there’s anything you’d like to see, get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.
